1. Who We Are
Apllex ("we", "our", "us") is a software development company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. We provide web, mobile, cloud, and AI product engineering services for clients in multiple regions.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Contact data: name, email, phone, company, and details you submit via contact forms or email.
- Project data: requirements, documents, technical context, and assets shared during discovery or delivery.
- Usage data: basic website analytics, device/browser metadata, and diagnostic events used for security and performance.
- Business records: proposals, contracts, invoices, and communication history.
- Mobile app and ad-related data: device identifiers (such as advertising ID), app usage events, IP address, and similar technical data processed by us or advertising partners when you use our published apps and when ads are shown.
3. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate project fit.
- Deliver contracted services and support.
- Manage billing, contracts, and service operations.
- Secure our systems, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Improve website and service quality through aggregated insights.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.
- Serve and measure advertising in our mobile applications, subject to your consent choices where required by law.
4. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)
Depending on jurisdiction, we process personal data based on one or more of: consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal/regulatory compliance.
5. Sharing and Subprocessors
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers only as needed to operate our business (for example hosting, analytics, communication, source control, or cloud tooling), subject to contractual safeguards.
We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
6. Mobile Apps, Advertising, and Consent
Apllex publishes mobile applications (for example, Shadow Call – Fake Call Maker) that may display ads through Google AdMob and related Google advertising services.
Where law requires it — including for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — we use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP)or Google's consent messaging tools before using personal data for personalized advertising.
Your consent choices
When a consent message is shown, you will be offered clear choices, including:
- Consent — allow use of data for personalized ads and related purposes described in the message.
- Do not consent — refuse consent for personalized advertising and related non-essential processing covered by that message. If you do not consent, we and our partners will not use your data for personalized ads in line with your choice; the app may still show non-personalized ads where permitted.
Consent requirements vary by country and region. We configure consent messages and options to reflect applicable legal requirements in the locations where our apps are offered. Displaying a Do not consent option is intentional: you are never required to accept personalized advertising to use the app.
You may withdraw or change your consent later where the CMP or app settings provide that option. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
Ad partners (including Google) may process data under their own policies. See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses data in advertising. You can also manage ad personalization in your device settings (for example, limit ad tracking on iOS or reset your advertising ID on Android).
7. Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary for business, contractual, security, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. When no longer needed, data is deleted, anonymized, or securely archived.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including access control, secure credential handling, least-privilege practices, and monitored infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
9. International Data Transfers
Because we work with international clients and cloud infrastructure, data may be processed in multiple countries. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border processing.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Request export/portability where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
To exercise rights, email support@apllex.com.
11. Cookies and Analytics
We may use essential and analytics cookies/tools to operate and improve the website. Where required, we ask for consent before non-essential cookies used for analytics or advertising on the site. You can control cookies through browser settings or consent tools. Blocking certain cookies may affect site functionality.
12. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for business/professional audiences and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date on this page.
